Fundraising
There are many ways you can help One Mission raise money to support the needs of children and their families battling cancer. We encourage you to join forces with your friends, co-workers, or community groups in organizing your very own fundraiser! Outlined below is a list of fundraising opportunities for individuals and groups to consider. Of course, if you have any other creative ideas, we’d love to hear about them! Please contact us with any ideas or suggestions.
Host an Event
Organize an event of your own design, invite friends, family, or members of your local community. Enjoy an evening together, while raising money for these precious patients and their families. Raise donations by simply charging a cover fee, conducting a raffle or an auction. Some popular themes include: wine tastings, cocktail parties, golf tournaments and private retail parties where a percentage of the sales is donated.
Companies & Schools
One Mission will be happy to partner with you to create an event that compliments your work environment and inspires your co-workers. Workplace campaigns are a great way to build awareness, increase morale, foster teamwork, and raise money for a great cause. An example of a common workplace fundraiser that many companies support is Denim Days. With the permission of your department head or Human Resources department, colleagues pay $1 and are allowed to wear jeans to work for the day. This fundraiser also works great in private schools as well! Please contact us to discuss how we can help you develop a campaign for your organization or school.
Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk
There are many ways you can support One Mission during this year’s Boston Marathon Jimmy Fund Walk. You can enroll as a walker on the One Mission Team and obtain sponsors, sponsor a One Mission walker, or even become a virtual walker! Books that Benefit
One Mission has partnered with Usborne Books, award-winning publisher of children’s books for every age from baby to teenage years.
